DISD Coach Arrested After Road Rage Incident

Dallas police say a case of road rage got the best of a man who happens to be a middle school coach. After the incident Coach Bobby Strogen ended up in handcuffs.
The victim talked with CBS 11 News about what she called a 'terrifying experience'.
Felicia Laury says the coach almost got away with brandishing a gun, but she followed him and called 911.
It happened on I-45 and Loop 12 when the 32-year-old woman says another driver kept cutting her off in traffic.
According to police, Strogen, a coach at Zumwalt Middle School in Dallas, pulled alongside Laury and pointed a handgun while yelling obscenities.
Laury says she slowed down when her three and four-year-old children began screaming, but instead of just calling police she followed the coach to a gas station near Dallas Fair Park.
"Because you never know like, we're rolling down 45, he had the gun out, [and] he had his finger on the trigger. What if he hit a bump and his finger actually slipped and he shot me or shot my son?" Laury questioned.
Dallas police were dispatched to the gas station where they arrested Strogen and seized his gun.
When posed with the idea that some might call her actions brave, while others would say it was dangerous Laury said "Some might call it stupid but like I said before, I don't think it was dumb, dangerous, or stupid, I think it was more like of a common instinct."
Strogen has been booked into the Dallas County Jail. A DISD spokesperson told CBS 11 News that he has been placed on administrative leave, without pay.
