Nude Jogger Strikes Terror Into Pa. Community
BUCKINGHAM, Pa. (CBS) ―
A man has been witnessed jogging in the nude for the fourth time this week and residents in Bucks County, Pa., are outraged he is baring it all.
According to police, a fourth report has been filed, this time from a woman who claims to have seen the man running along I-95 in Lower Makefield, Pa., wearing nothing at all.
Police believe the description fits previous reports of similar incidents, a man running in the nude and performing lewd acts, including a sexual assault.
On Monday, a woman who was jogging in Buckingham reported a nude man jumped out and grabbed her from behind, leaving DNA on her clothes.
"I was surprised that something like that would happen, especially to a woman jogging in the middle of the afternoon," said Beverly Lutes of Buckingham.
Police report that the naked assailant then ran away and drove off in an SUV.
The first reports came Nov. 11 of a man exposing himself in Levittown, Pa. The reports of lewd conduct continued near I-95 as drivers claimed a man flashed passing cars from the bushes.
Due to the proximity of the accounts in Bucks County, from Levittown, to Nockamixon State Park, officials have reason to believe the same individual is responsible for the vulgar behavior.
Witnesses describe the bare suspect as a white male in his 30s, bald or balding, medium to large build, and driving a silver SUV, possibly a Jeep Liberty.
Police in Bucks County urge people to contact them if they have any information in regards to the suspect.
