Teen Charged For Streaking At HS Football Game

FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (AP) ― Otter Tail Country prosecutors aren't smiling after a nearly naked teen ran through the halftime show of the Fergus Falls High School homecoming game as a prank.

The 15-year-old boy allegedly ran from one end of the field to the other wearing only tennis shoes, a military gas mask and a sombrero. The school band was performing at the time.

The boy was arrested in a swampy area near the football field about 45 minutes after the incident on Friday night. Police say the boy got cold and decided to stop hiding.

Otter Tail County Attorney David Hauser said his office charged the boy with gross misdemeanor incedent exposure. He notes there were a number of small children in the stands when the streaking happened.

The teen is being held in the juvenile detention center in Moorhead.
