Cool Conditions After Rainy Friday Morning
Clouds Will Be Slow To Leave North Texas
FORT WORTH (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ―
A Flash Flood Watch is still in effect Friday morning as rainfall totals are approaching two to three inches across most of North Texas.
There have been some areas with flood problems, especially our lower-lying areas, but it has been mainly minor. Be careful near creeks, streams and rivers in North Texas Friday morning, as well as under overpasses and low water crossings.
The rain should taper off by mid-morning Friday in the DFW area and by noon in our eastern counties. The clouds, however, will stick around most of the day. We may see a few breaks in the clouds by Friday afternoon, but most of the clearing will occur closer to sundown.
Look for temperatures to remain in the 50s all day -- very chilly for this time of year.
Expect clearing skies and cool temperatures Friday night, with a low near 46 degrees!
Saturday looks to be a beautiful day, mostly sunny with a high temperature near 67 degrees.
Then, the clouds quickly return on Sunday as a reinforcement of cool air moves. Look for a high temperature near 65 degrees.
