Meteorologist: Severe Weather Over Until Friday

FORT WORTH (CBS 11 News) ― It's over!

Those words are probably welcomed after what seemed likeĀ an eternity of thunderstorms and severe weather.

Sunday night we will see clear skies and considerably colder temperatures than we have had in a while. The lows will near 46 degrees (you put your jackets away didn't you?).

Monday, the weather will do a quick recovery with plenty of sunshine and light to moderate wind. The high will be near 76.

The nice weather will prevail until Thursday night into Friday morning as another large storm system rolls into the central plains from the Great Basin. This feature will bring us another cold front and a chance of severe weather.

In the mean time… enjoy the beautiful weather.
