Memorial Day Free Gas Giveaway

NORTH TEXAS (CBS 11 News) ―

Verizon, Yellow Pages and Superpages.com have all teamed up to give some lucky North Texans a boost at the gas pump for the upcoming holiday weekend.

The companies will be giving away free gas to consumers at two Dallas/Fort Worth locations.

The first 200 vehicles at each gas station will receive a $40 pre-paid gas card.

According to AAA, the average price of gas is up 1.8-percent compared to last year. The national average gas price is $3.776 per/gallon. As of May 19 the average price for gas in DFW was $3.70.

The Memorial Day Free Gas Giveaway happens Thursday, May 22, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

  • 3051 Mayfield Road , Grand Prairie, Texas, 75052 (Exxon Station)
