DALLAS Tough economic times are forcing many people to stretch their money.

As more and more people stay home, restaurants are feeling the effects.

The manager at Martini Park says they have seen fewer customers. They know people are on a budget, so they have to be creative to get people through their doors.

Martini Park is one of dozens of restaurants in the metro area working with the Web site Restaurant.com.

Costumers can go online and print out gift certificates at a discounted price. A $3 gift certificate will buy $10 worth of food. A gift certificate of $10 will get $25 worth of food.

Depending on the restaurant, costumers have to spend up to $35 to use the coupon. In most cases, it does not apply to alcohol.
