NORTH TEXAS (CBS 11 / TXA 21) ― There's no doubt that high gasoline prices have affected the way many North Texans are traveling this summer.

With gas, food and airline charges on the rise, the company that claims to be the world's largest travel community has come out with a list of free North Texas attractions meant to help save money.

Based on reviews and experiences of real travelers, TripAdvisor released their top five free Dallas/Fort Worth 'Staycation' attractions.
